For Professionals,
Authors, and Other Experts Who Want to
Build a Vibrant Virtual
Village around Their Message ...
Discover the "Secret Sauce" of Successful Professionals,
Authors, and Experts that Will Allow You to "Design Your
Village" So People Come for a Visit, Decide to Stay, and Tell
Their Friends All about You!
What would it
mean to you if, over the next 90 days, you could design
and build an online community of hundreds, maybe thousands, of
people who eagerly read, watch, or listen to
everything you say?(Check all that
apply.)
I could
finally attract and help my ideal
clients.
I could finally share my knowledge, wisdom, and
expertise with those
who want
to know.
I could
finally attract an agent
and/or publisher.
I could become a bestselling
author.
I could attract more clients or
customers.
I could work less and make more money, so I can
enjoy more leisure andtime with my
family.
Or ... (fill in
with your own desires):
Please read
everything below, because you will learn what is the "secret
sauce" that sets apart successful professionals, authors,
and business people. Just as a restaurant can become
successful for serving, say, a salad with a special "house
dressing" that makes them special and unique and worth
talking about, so you too can develop your own "secret
sauce" that will set you apart.
Just a few years ago, you could never even create this
kind of "secret sauce." The ingredients were not even
available!
Now, however, once you know what goes into a "secret
sauce," you can use those ingredients to create something
very special.
You will know
how to b
uild a dynamic
online community where people want to join, want to
participate and want to tell their friends
about.That’s what it will
take foryou to see
those dreams you mentioned above come
true.
An
online community with members who learn to know, like and
trust you AND each other and are ready to cooperate and
collaborate to create something you and they can be proud
of.
So
let’s take a sneak peek at what goes into your “secret
sauce.”
Secret Sauce Ingredients: Web 2.0
You probably guessed it already: the "secret
sauce" has to do with the Internet.
Michael Cader,
editor of Publisher's
Marketplace and Publisher's Lunch,
caught the vision of what the Internet could do for authors
and publishers (but it holds true for any expert). Here's
what he said three years ago:
"If publishers had sat down 10 years ago
and tried to figure out something that
could
connect them to their
customers
, share their
information,
allow them to develop deep, targeted,
meaningful, individual
relationships
, and
sell product
with less friction all at the same
time,
they couldn't have invented anything better
than the Internet
, which as a reading medium has given rise
to an epistolary culture that we never
could have imagined. …
"The Internet was designed for us
[publishers and authors]. We couldn't have
made something any better, and I think
precious few publishers have taken
aggressive advantage
of
all the ways in which a good Internet
strategy can spread the word about their
products, bring them closer to their
customers, and help them drive
sales
. Retailers tell us all the time, people
find out what they want to read
online.
Every publisher [I would add, author]
should be thinking of their digital
strategy as really beginning with the
Internet
, and branching out from
there."
Michael Cader spoke these
words just before what we call Web 2.0 hit. If anything, his
words are truer today than they were two years
ago.
And his words are as true for
professionals, entrepreneurs, and business owners as they
are for authors and publishers.
And
now there's something we’ve needed that wasn’t available
until recently--unless you were a big company and had big
bucks to spend on a custom solution.
Now
there are even software products, some of them free, that
provide us with the perfect infrastructure we need to
design a "virtual
village" so when we invite people, they come, they get
involved, and they stay!
Now the challenge is, with so
many people building their own online communities, how can
you build yours so people come visit, value what they find,
and decide to stay and actively
participate?
There's so much NOISE out there--everyone
chattering in all these venues--that the big issue becomes
simply: BEING SEEN and BEING HEARD.
In the publishing world, we
call this "platform."
This term used to mean, "how many people you have the
potential to reach." As in, how many people receive your
emails, how many people listen to your podcast or radio show
or read your blog.
But now, we need
to redefine "platform." It's not so much how many people
you might reach, but how
many people actually SEE and HEAR you.
THAT'S what you really want: to be well
seen and well heard.
Design Your
Village, Build Your Online Community So They
Come--andStay
Starting on June 11, Russell
Cox, Diane Eble, and Bonnie Dubrow will be co-teaching a
course on how to design your village and build your
online community. It will be a hands-on, workshop type
class in which we will help you:
identify the right
infrastructure for the type of village you want to
build.
learn how to engage members
of your online community so it grows into a Vibrant Virtual
Village.
incorporate your Virtual Village into your
overall marketing strategy so that rather than doing
more work, you're doing less work and getting your
message heard more effectively by more
people.
Taking this program
will allow you to learn our strategies and build a
Vibrant Virtual Village of your own, with coaching from
your three instructors.
You will also get the benefit
of listening to how the other students are formulating their
strategies and building their online communities, which will
give you further ideas and actionable
steps.
In fact, your participation in
this class will allow you to learn
experientially exactly what we're teaching you!
You'll "learn by doing" by becoming a member of a community
similar to the kind you may well want to create
yourself.
By the end of the
5-week class, you will know:
·which software
platform will give you the best infrastructure
for the type of village you want to create (all of it
free, by the way).
·how to build
your online community so your members know why they’ve
come and what to do while they’re there (you'll lead them
to your desired business outcome).
·how to get
members so engaged that they decide to stay much
longer than you would have dreamed
possible.
·how to get
visitors excited so that they tell their friends about
it—they'll be the ones to "sell"you!
After the 5 weeks of
instruction, there will be two post classes in which you'll be
able to present the design of your Virtual Village and the
progress you’ve made in building it. You’ll get
encouragement, support, and suggestions to help you
complete, or if you already have an online community, upgrade
the construction and invite people to come visit. Once people
become members, you’ll know what to do to engage them so they
decide to stick around and participate in the exciting
discussions, even collaborate on community
projects.
If you’d like to hear
for yourself what you’ll be learning, listen to the Preview
Call Russell, Diane and Bonnie did on May 28 for
this "Design Your Village" class. You can listen to the Preview Call by clicking on
the player buttons on the left-hand sidebar. The call was in
two parts.
Okay, what's the cost
for this class?
To put it into
perspective, if you were to hire Russell, Diane, or Bonnie for
even 1 hour of their time, it would be at least
$175.
In this class, you
get more than 10 hours of their
combined time for a fraction of what it
would cost for any one of them.
"Learning from Russell, Diane
and Bonnie is like getting to listen in
on a Mastermind group of
experts!"
Plus, you get
added one-on-one coaching with Russell, to
make sure you understand everything and know how to apply it to
your own situation.
Plus, you get to
interact with all three insructions AND the other
participants through the community platform you'll be
learnng how to use by doing.
So, although the
value will be close to $5500, you won't have to pay nearly
that.
In fact, the cost of
this 5-week course (plus pre-class, post-class, and extra bonus
calls) is only $495.
And it's an
investment in yourself and your Vibrant Virtual Village that
will be returned to you, we assure you. (Assuming you do
the work, of course. Nothing happens until you take
action.)
Here’s the good
news!
You don't have to pay the full
price!
Special
Early-Bird Discount
We’re offered a
special discount, one that, we assure you, will never be
repeated.
Like we’ve said,
this price will never be
repeated.

day I enlisted Diane, our book project is
finished and on the bookstore
shelves.”--Janet
